FROM MARKET TO BOUQUET

YOU GOT A BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET OF FLOWERS, PUT IT IN A VASE AND ENJOY WATCHING IT. HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW IT CAME TO BE, WHO MADE IT AND HOW MUCH EFFORT AND TIME WAS INVESTED IN MAKING IT?

With this short story, I wish to introduce you to the process of making bouquets, from the very purchase of flowers to packaging. I start the day with a visit to the flower wholesale because I want to personally examine the ordered flowers and select new species. I emphasize the best and fresh species, and I am helped by experience and excellent co-operation with suppliers and breeders.

After the morning adventure, I deliver flowers in the radio where every flower and stallion pass through the expert hands of my floristic workers. Flowers in the radium are cleaned of redundant leaves, and in case of roses it is necessary to remove every thorn. On the stalks it is necessary to make a 2 cm long hair cut in order to be able to absorb water better and easier. The water must be cold and clean for the flowers to last as long as possible and it is not recommended to place sugar or aspirin because it closes pores on the stalks and the flowers are woven faster.

We keep the flowers additionally in the refrigerators to keep it fresh and the flowers closed. From the moment of harvesting to the end user, it is ideal for the flowers to stay in specialized refrigerators and at precisely defined temperatures in order to slow down the ageing process and allow the end user to enjoy the fragrance, freshness and beauty of flowers as long as possible.

It’s paperwork time – sometimes it takes a couple of hours for every flower and greenery to count, write down, set the codes, put the prices … but we won’t do it because we prefer flowers, creativity and decorations. Therefore, identical design, composition, color and mathematics are important for the design of the bouquet. How does a bouquet get made?

Harmonizing flower species according to the shape, colour and life span with the given topic or occasion, paying attention all the time to the given budget. The style and way the bouquet is composed depend on the opportunity, the types of flowers, the wishes of the ordering entity and the current inspiration of the flowers. However, there are also technical rules that every florist must adhere to. The technical performance of bouquets and arrangements has been studied for years, and work experience is also very important. However, I would say that the most important thing is love for flowers!

Bouquet, when it’s finished, wrap it or how much more pleasant I like to say, richly sneak it into fine silk papers and decorate the rips with tape or a luxurious machine.

We place floral decorations and installations that we work in vases in Lela Design boxes, made according to our design, and then luxuriously suture them into fine silk papers and decorate the ribbon.

We designed flower decorations in boxes for situations where the recipient or recipient certainly does not have a vase at hand. In boxes, measuring 12 x 12 x 12 cm, we put water-soaked flower sponges so that the flowers can last long. I will tell you the secret, which is, the flowers treated in this way take longer than the bouquet because the claws are cut into shorter lengths and the flower absorbs water better and easier.

Product – flowers in box, comes in white Lela Design boxes, dimensions 63 x 16 x 10 cm also snuck into fine silk papers and decorated with a ribbon. This product is intended for people who like to arrange themselves. If you want to send the selected flower bouquet or flower decoration for delivery with flowers, a personalized message for the recipient comes.

Finally, a smile for the client is the final touch by which we proudly hand over our hands the work, made with a lot of attention and love.
